Absolute Scaffold were contracted to erect a scaffold system which would allow safe and easy access into the archaeological excavations behind the Castletown Nautical Museum. Oxford Archaeology North were on site to reduce the ground level within the enclosed courtyard with the aim of exposing a stone slipway and allowing the historic armoured yacht "The Peggy" to be removed for much needed conservation works. Due to the complex nature of the archaeological excavations and the discovery of a dock rather than the anticipated slipway, the scaffold required frequent alteration and Absolute scaffold provided a safe and simple design each time. The work was carried out in a quick and professional manner, frequently in difficult conditions as the site floods at high tide! They were able to staff the site at extremely short notice, allowing us to keep on programme and were a very necessary part of the "Peggy Crew".

Absolute Scaffolding were appointed sub-contractor to Wates Retails Evergreen House Project in Douglas, Isle of Man. They were tasked to provide design, supply, erect and dismantle services for a scaffold structure for a difficult operation incorporating the removal of a defective external skin to a cavity gable wall followed by a rebuild of the wall. Absolute carried out all phases of the works tasked them and proved to be responsive, reliable, efficient and cost effective. The workmanship, subsequent supervision and inspection regime can only be described as exemplary. I have no hesitation in recommending Absolute Scaffolding for undertaking scaffolding works and in the provision of a professional attitude to all aspects associated with scaffold structures.
